The Lifestyle Blogger

Wow! I’m usually that person who is religiously reading my favorite lifestyle blogs. I’m most certainly not one to find myself behind the computer typing my own blog. In this post, I’m going to share with you four lifestyle bloggers I’m currently following. I chose these ladies’ blogs as they are consistently posting content (3-4 times per week). If I were to guess, I would say I have easily read my fair share of blogs for well over 10 years. During these past 10+ years, these bloggers have had the opportunity to add additional social media outlets to their burgeoning empire of Internet real estate (i.e., Instagram and TikTok). Prior to these social newcomers, bloggers were using Facebook and Twitter to expand their online presence and drive traffic to their website/blog.

The type of content that I enjoy reading on blogs includes: beauty, cooking, fashion, fitness, and travel. I love it when these bloggers share digital picture collages of holiday gift ideas, outfit capsules, and best beauty products. These digital images add pop and visual interest to their blogs!

Prior to working full-time and being a graduate student, in my free time, I primarily read books related to communications, public relations, and social media to stay on top of emerging trends. I’m also a huge fan of history and business leader biographies. Reading lifestyle blogs is an outlet to decompress (my friend’s outlet is watching Bravo’s Housewives series). To each their own!

Welcome to the personal website and portfolio for Jennifer Mills, a communications and marketing professional located in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Jennifer’s passion lies in communications where she enjoys creating impactful campaigns and telling meaningful stories.

Professionally, she works in digital marketing at a Software as a Service (SaaS) company which provides technology, software and local business automation tools for small business owners so that they can better manage their time, communicate with their clients, and receive payments for their services.

Personally, she has had the opportunity to share the stories of the following organizations: Junior League of Dallas, Dallas Alumnae Association of Alpha Delta Pi, and the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce.

Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in advertising and public relations at Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, Texas.

In her free time, she enjoys baking, cooking, college football, photography, reading, and travel. Her favorite forms of exercise include running, swimming, tennis, and yoga.
